"As executive director of Town Hall Theater, Mitchell leads theater operations and fundraising, creates new programming and partnerships, and oversees a talented team of theater professionals. Since Mitchell started in February 2020, THT has secured unprecedented grant support, grown membership and fundraising, and developed a new annual outdoor season, as well as as launched live-streaming video capability to connect with audiences nationwide. Lisa brings experience as a multi-disciplinary arts and event producer as well as communications and management expertise at the local and national levels, including work for Burson-Marsteller, Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines, CBS, and more. As the daughter of a Cuban immigrant, Mitchell continues to work to expand the array of voices and partnerships driving THT presentations, and is focused on creating an accessible, inclusive space for all."

She has served for more than fifteen years as a leading expert in the use of film as a tool for amplifying social good and inspiring civic engagement.

As Assistant Professor of American Studies, Karl Lindholm’s interests include the literature of baseball, the Negro leagues in particular, Vietnam War literature, the regional culture of northern New England, and cross-cultural literature. He earned his B.A.( English ) from Middlebury (1967) and holds a Ph.D in American Studies (American Literature) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
