Rita Glidden, proprietor of Thread Connection, was presented the Stephen A. Freeman Award May 26 by Foundation chair Eric. During the pandemic she made and distributed masks and asked only for donations to the HOPE Food Shelf.
She also helped found the Food Co-op, and has volunteered for Hospice, the Cornwall School and Bicentennial celebration, HOPE, and more.
