Betsy- We DO have a meeting Jan., 29
Geoff- Rotary On-Line Auction will be March 27-April 5
this year. A sign up list of contacts for donations
will start circulation next week.
Maureen-CACO process to start. She will send out an
e-mail in the next few days to sign up if you
would like to be involved. A meeting will be
held Feb. 20, 5-7pm to review grant requests
Ben- Winterfest is Feb. 16, a Sunday this year. Asking
for interest in the Snow Sculpture contest this year
Bill Cunningham volunteered to coordinate this
activity.
Ted- Any Rotarians that would like to advertise in
MUHS spring play program, please let him know.
This will benefit Project Graduation.

Happy that Paul and Linda Seward have joined us today. Also he and Lois will be traveling to New Orleans and Florida over the next few weeks.
Eric- Happy to have his Dad as a guest today.He has been visiting our club since before the turn of the century!
Maureen-Happy the sun has come out.
John-Loves the sun but also loves the cold we had last week!
Scott-Marilyn and him still go to hockey at Middlebury College despite not being President of Friends of Middlebury Hockey. Looking for improvement in win/loss record.
Nancy-Remembering Alan Curler who passed this week in his sleep. Alan was deeply involved in 4-H, FFA and many other agricultural orgainizations.

PROGRAM:
Today is Club Assembly
Dustin gave as a report on the Tot Lot Playground Renovation project at the entrance to the Recreation park. The club applied for and received a $4000. District Grant. The Grant required a 100% match from our club so in total Rotary will be contributing $8000. toward the project. Total cost of the project is around $37000. which Town capital fund will be responsible for. the project will bring in structures and equipment that will be all inclusive for all children including those with mobility issues and sensory/developmental delays.
The club will also be asked to help with installation of the equipment as well as the final landscaping. Completion is anticipated for summer of 2020.
Geoff-Reviewed the budget. Changes noted in sponsorships, Rotary Foundation and membership dues.
Nancy: Explained nominating procedure for incoming officers. Will be nominating a person for president 3 years out. Secretary and treasurer are also 1 year positions but normally these can be multiple years due to tasks involved. February or early March the committee expects to put forth names for nominations. Eric noted that the District provides support for training. PETS (Presidents Elect Training Seminar).
Betsy gave us a 6 month review of activities we have been involved in so far including: community supper, Christmas Gift Giving, Meals on Wheels, Flag project, Youth Exchange,
World Polio Day, Halloween bag stuffing Merry Mulch, various projects for HOPE. Many more to come in remaining Rotary year including Flag project, RYLA, youth speech contest On line auction, Gala Dinner and 3 community awards among others!
Liz: We have 3 community awards to plan for: The Stephan Freeman award, the Buster Brush Community award and the Maggie Quinn award. Contact Liz for more information. Nominations will be soon.
