There is a Polio re-appearance in the country and NY state.
Please email Buzz if you would like to be on the Rotary Bocce Team
Rotary Connection - the previous past President of the Sarasota Rotary Club reached out to Spence to help find lodging in Middlebury as they will be here for a wedding. Spence worked with John Z and he was able to help pull a few strings and help out this Rotarian. More information to come, but we would like to be welcoming if anyone is interested in hiking, going out to dinner/lunch, showing them around Middlebury, etc.
Geoff - Volunteer Coordinator
Window Dressers:
All is going well and folks are going out around October 1st to start doing the measures.
November 3rd-9th will need volunteers to help with assembly, cooking meals, and distribution. (Geoff passed out a sign up sheet and please be on the look out for emails)
The build will take place at the Rec Center on Creek Road.
Meals on Wheels - Age Well
In need of volunteers to help with distribution starting in October, once a week on Wednesdays from 11:30-12:45 (Sign up sheet was passed around)
Bocce Tournament - Sept 17

Paul - Band Stand Project
Almost done with the paint - the last paint session happened on September 7th.
There was a motion to put a Rotary sign on the bandstand (Buzz was volunteered). There was also conversation of adding a Middlebury Rotary sign to other building supported by the group such as the HOPE Bus Stop.
Nancy - Labor Day Flags
Once flags are dried off - please put them away.
Mike – Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser will go live around October 14-15
Mike will send an email - please review for overview and how to participate.
The email will include an electronic list of organizations who donated last year. Please reach out to Mike before going out to businesses to ensure there are no other Rotarians also going to that same business.
Looking for 10% more from places who donated
Maureen - it has been 1 year since Karl passed away and seeing if anyone wanted to reach out to Diane.
