PROGRAM:

Liz introduced Chris Mason of Middlebury Police Dept.

Liz invited Officer Mason to talk about the drug crisis in our region. Liz explained how this crisis has affected her family and how her desire is to help other families that are going through this and the support they need.

Officer Mason explained the type of Opiods in the community and other drugs that are available. He explained that these addictions affect all age groups but 25-40 are largest users.

The epidemic isn't anyone person's problem. It is a biological reaction that can happen to anyone.

Over the next few months we will hear more from different speakers to help educate us.

Thank you Liz for making us aware and sharing your family's experiences.
