ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Terry-Ron Hadley is in hospice care.
Chris-Community supper went well. Over 200 served. Excellent help from club members.
Scott-Membership meeting is at Middlebury Inn Oct. 16. NOT AT ROSIES.
October 15-Board meeting at Rotary meeting room at Town Offices.
October 24-World Polio Day-Hand out awareness information at Cannon Park 9:30am-approx. Noon.
Geoff- Vermont Gas increased their sponsorship to $5000.
Betsy- October 30th we will meet at Rosies to assemble Halloween bags for HOPE to distribute.Continental breakfast to be served.
Buzz-Our exchange student is back home early due to some health issues.
Eric- District training is in Lyndon November 16 for any interested.
HAPPY DOLLARS:
Troy-.Had knee surgery last week and is on the mend. Very happy with results. Also got down on his good knee and got engaged !
Rex- Found no gas in his wife's car this morning. Was able to wake Darwin at Pratts store in Bridport to get to Rotary. Also for work that Betsy did on new bill head logo.
Scott-Had 24 classmates attend annual breakfast from class of 1963.
Eric-Tiger football won again last week. Now 6-0. Play Rutland in Rutland tonight(Oct.11) in key matchup. Editors’ note: Middlebury won 42-7!
Geoff-Had a classmate of 1963 visiting. Looking for volunteers to help with painting project at HOPE.
Jim- Visited Disney last week with daughters family. Walked over 40 miles and had a great time.

No winner this week.
PROGRAM
David introduced todays speaker, Jeffrey Rink, visiting Rotarian and guest conductor of the orchestra in Opera Company of Middleburys’ production of Puccin’s “Tosca”. Performances will be Oct. 9,11 and 13 at Town Hall Theater and also October 17 in Cambridge N.Y.,Oct. 19th at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe Vt. and Oct. 20th at the Town Hall in Woodstock Vt.
