ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Club Assembly--Next week we will have a club assembly, or meeting for business.  A major topic will be discussing and then approving the Service/Fundraising budget.

CACo Discussion--There will be a meeting on Monday at 5:15 pm at Neuse Duprey and Putnam to discuss the functioning of CACo (Charitable Assessment Committee).  All members are encouraged to attend (and park so that the driveway is not blocked!).

Maker Space--Nancy Foster announced that the Maker Space at the Hannaford Center is up and running and will hold an open house on September 19.

Club Runner--David Clark demonstrated the club web site, showing how to log in and encouraging members to update their personal information.  This section of the web site is protected from public view and helps club members get to know each other better.

Henry Leach Boy Scout Golf Tournament--Neil Mackey is working on re-energizing the Boy Scout golf tournament, which happens to be named for a former member of our club.  It will be held on October 5 here in Middlebury.  He could use some help in rounding up sponsors.

Library Focus Groups--After the meeting interested members may meet with the new director of Ilsley Library, Dana Hart, and Barbara Doyle Welch to share with them their vision(s) for the future of the library.

HAPPY DOLLARS

Scott--Back from a trip to Alaska.
Ben--Bow and arrow stalking of squirrels with Evie.
Jim--Recently attended his 50th MUHS reunion.
Tom--went sailing last week with some grumpy old men.
Tim--has an ongoing vendetta against squirrels.
Buzz--30 people signed up for Interact.
Kevin--found squirrels in his dryer.
Max--trapped a groundhog, painted it red to make sure it did not come back.
Lyn--experienced a skunk (smell) in the local dump.
Cari--Dementia event was a great success.
Jason--the Tampa Buccaneers are 2-0.
