Hope Vacation Bags is now scheduled for February 20th at Hope at 10am.

 

 

Next Week we will hear from Mark, the new Town Manager.

And Caitlyn Boyle from MNFF.

 

 

 

 

We learned that there are two Campus', the one we were at today and another on Exchange Street, which is used for Diesel studies and Auto Mechanics. They also have Goats (but we don't know why)

 

The Career Center works with 4 local High Schools, MUHS, Vergennes, Mt Abe and Otter Valley. 50% come for MUHS

 

PAHCC is a Bleneded Academic and Technical Career Center. "Career Tech Education"

 

Most of the programs, and there are many, are 1/2 day where they spend part of the day at their High School on Academic Studies. The exception is the Culinary program which is full day.

 

As they progress, the students are matched with a Local Business where they can Intern and get real world experience.

 

In addition to the programs here, there is an Adult Ed  and Makery component in the evening.

 

We had a great Breakfast in The Glass Onion Eatery which will be open for Lunch from 11:30 to 1pm on the following days:

 

March 13th and 20th

April 17th and 18th

May 1st, 2nd, 15th, 16th.
