MILESTONES
 
Ron Hadley has been a member of Rotary for 46 years.
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
 
Baby Shower for Parent/Child Center--Juddy thanked Kathy for coordinating the collection of "baby shower" items for the Parent/Child Center.
 
Charter House Meal--Nancy has enough volunteers to provide a meal for Charter House late in March.
 
Auction--Geoff announced that the 11th annual Rotary Auction will take place beginning May 3.  Next week we will begin the process of soliciting for 250 items to post on the auction site.
 
Membership Breakfast--Scott reminded members that the next membership breakfast will be in three weeks, on April 3 at the Middlebury Inn.  There is still time to refer names of potential members to him.
 
PETS--Betsy is off this weekend to Framingham, MA, for a training session for incoming presidents.  This is a big event, with new leaders from eight different districts learning the leadership ropes.
 
HAPPY DOLLARS
 
Geoff--he and Maureen went to Florida, ended up with a $1,000 voucher (each) for future travel for giving up their seats.
Max--back from visiting grandchildren and great grandchildren in California.
Eric--knows PETS will be good, because he helped plan it!  There will be 560 people there.
Helmut--back from a trip to Cuba with his wife.
Liz--nice to have Donna Bailey here.
Spence--the Solid Waste District is now accepting plastic film.  Lots less to throw away.
 
PRESENTATION:
 
Kathy introduced Donna Bailey, director of the Parent Child Center (on staff since 1999).  Donna described the center's many programs and impressive successes working with young families.  Donna expressed great gratitude for the "baby shower" gifts members had collected.
