Lee Ann introduced by Eric. Lee Ann is a member of the Rotary Club of Portland Sunrise. She is the Executive Director of the Polio Survivors Rotary Action Group. As a survivor of Polio she has traveled around the globe to take part in National Immunization Days and protect children against Polio. She explained how Covid-19 has and will affect the fight against Polio as all attention is directed toward finding a vaccine and fighting this new disease but that we will prevail.

Green up day is May 30. Any interest working in small groups? Let Betsy know.

 

District Grant was accepted by District and on way to Rotary International for approval. $2500. with a match of $2500. going to United Way for distribution in next Rotary year.

 

Zoom Meetings will start at 7:45am beginning May 27.

 

Geoff:

 

Club has a $1500. goal for Polio Plus. Send in donations for Polio Plus, Happy Dollars and or Club account to P.O. Box 46
