Our speaker today is Jim Gish, town liaison for the rail bridges project. July 2021 is the scheduled end date. 2018 saw drainage work done and access roads built. 2019 will see the rail line from the trestle to the rail yard rebuilt. 2019 construction will start August 5th. Starting May 27 2020, Main street and Merchants Row will be closed 10 weeks.  The organization, Neighbors Together, is coordinating efforts to help with merchants concerns of parking, detours and marketing efforts. Urged Rotary to connect with the organization to see where we might help. This project is zero cost to the Town of Middlebury but carries an 80 million$$ in Federal and State funds. More information can be obtained by checking Jim’s Blog, Middleburybridge.org for more information.
