ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Speaker Coordination--Jim Needham is coordinating speakers for our meetings. He says all spots are filled until December 31 except October 10. Be thinking about speakers for the New Year.
Rotary Cards--Scott Needham showed off some Rotary Cards printed and donated by the Little Press Room. Thanks to Ted and Betsy.
Ilsley Focus Group Meetings--David Clark is organizing focus group discussions on the future of the Ilsley Library exclusively for Rotary members. One will be held at 11:00 am in the Rotary Room in the Municipal Building on Thursday the 13th. The other will be held at Rosie's directly after our meeting two weeks from now (September 19th).
Dementia Training Sessions--Cari Burkhard reminded members of the dementia training session to be held at EastView a week from Friday (September 14). This event was supported by Rotary.
DONATION UNDER $500
There is a line item in our budget for donations $500 and below, and they are voted upon when they come up. Geoff proposed such a donation for the Red Cross and the club approved.

Nancy--Very grateful for the help she received from relatives for the barbecue when she was called away for a family emergency.
T--just back from a week in Nova Scotia.
Lyn--Going to New York to join a group for an experimental drug that may save her life.
Scott--Remembering the adventures of Willy, Doug Anderson's dog, found by the community after a five day absence.
Kathy--Bill is halfway through his treatments.
Terry--it was nice to see small children at our picnic.
Ron--Thanks to Nancy for a wonderful picnic. He and Del are moving to EastView.
PRESENTATIONS
Scott introduced Doug Anderson, former Executive Director and now Artistic Director of Town Hall Theater, who then introduced his successor as ED, Mark Bradley. Mark spoke of his priorities for the theater, which initially will focus on deciding how to use the Diner property, increasing music offerings, and beefing up the education program. Mark comes to THT from the Opera House in Lebanon, NH.
