A card was circulated to congratulate Judson and Chelsea on birth of baby boy!
ANOUNCEMENTS:
Geoff- Veterans Day is Nov. 11. Flags to put up Sunday or Monday. Taken down Tuesday morning. Team captains cordinate times with members.
Eric-Mike McGovern will be our speaker at Paul Harris dinner Nov 13. Mike is the Chair of the Rotary International PolioPlus Committee.
There will be no meeting at Rosies that day. Paul Harris dinner meeting is at Waybury Inn. Social time at 5:45pm., program/dinner at 6:30pm
Nov. 16 is District training at Lyndon. Still time to sign up.
Lynn- November 23 and 24, Community Chorus at Mahaney Center for the Arts.
HAPPY DOLLARS:
Karl- received letter of apology and refund check from IRS due to error on IRS part!
David- Also received apology letter but with much smaller refund.
Gary- Relayed news of a bike accident he had and the news of a good samaritan that helped out.
Liz- Thanked Eric for all the work he does for Rotary Foundation. Also noted the passing of Mrs. Robinson.
Scott-Attended a Middlebury Womens Field Hockey game. They will be in semi finals on Saturday.
Eric-Congratulations to high school boys soccer team for making it to finals. Also high school football lost to a very talented Burr and Burton team Friday night.
Noted that the college football team used the high school field to prepare for their next game on real turf.

PROGRAM:
Eric-Rotary Foundation-Eric gave us explanation of how we as a club and individuals can make a difference in the world and our local communties. Our gifts enable us, as Rotarians, to make
grants to help prevent disease through the Polio Plus program, provide clean water, supporting education and other causes. Gifts are matched by the District and Rotary International
to make even a small donation multiply. November is Foundation month! Dinner on November 13 will feature the chair of Rotary International Polio Plus Committee, Mike McGovern.
