Betsy gave us her thoughts for the upcoming year. Betsy gave us a glimpse of her background and personal life. She grew up in Ferrisburg, was a Graphic Design major in college, has a music background as well, playing in local bands and groups. She also is getting married in September.

Her Rotary life began 4 years ago, recruited by Scott. Betsy spoke of her passion in Rotary and named the new Board of Directors. Theme for 2019-2020 Rotary years is ROTARY CONNECTS THE WORLD.

Currently the Club is working on a District grant for $4000.00 which the Club must match, for new playground equipment in the Tot Lot at recreation field.

Plans are in the works for cookouts and service projects help help connect us to each other and the community.

Eric: Eric is the Foundation Chair for the Club. Eric recognized Karl Neuse and Bill Brooks for their continued giving to the Rotary Foundation in addition to those recognized at last weeks Changeover meeting.

Eric also gave us a glimpse of his trip to R.I. Convention in Hamburg Germany.

His reasons for included his passion for Rotary, connect with others and visiting other areas of the world. He encouraged all to attend if possible. Honolulu will be the site in 2020. Let’s all go!
