PROGRAM:

 

Ben introduced Kate Rothwell, Director of MREMS.

(Middlebury Regional Emergency and Medical Services).

They are a private, non profit, tax exempt organization providing emergency services to Middlebury and surrounding towns of East Middlebury, Salisbury, New Haven, Ripton, Orwell, Shoreham, Whiting,  Bridport, Cornwall and Weybridge. They also provide dispatching services for a number of agencies.

Shortly after her introduction she was called away on a medical call. Ben Fuller, a board member of MREMS, filled in to answer questions and explained some of the financial challenges they face.

Our thoughts are with Bill Brooks on passing of his sister Elizabeth Brooks Dennett.

Flags look great around town. Thanks to Buzz for completing his route alone.

 

Geoff:

HOPE is looking for volunteers for resale shop as it opens back up.

Maureen:

 Neighbors,Together liaisons from club will be Buzz, Paul Horn and Scott.

David - Town took loads of debris from cemetery

 

Eric- Thanks for help on flag project from rookie Paul Seward!

 

John Barstow-Happy to weed on crab apple project. Also glad to write a check for club funds such as happy dollars and polio plus.

 

Spence- Happy to be zooming outside

 

Nancy-Happy that Ann Lafiandra paid an extra $50 for flag project to help cover for others that could not pay.

 

Maureen-Paid extra $6 for NOT singing her Happy Birthday!

 

John Metcalfe- Had a successful camping trip this past weekend.

 

Max- Happy to see everyone

 

Jason- Happy to have son helping with flags. Also for his wife marrying him.

 

Neil- Thankful for his wife Kathy doing all of the packing for their pending house move.
