Bill presented the club with the Bocce Trophy from the CSAC event
Maureen- CACO Grants
Maureen thanked the 12 committee members for their help in reviewing applications and coming up with recommendations for which organizations to fund and at what level. The total amount recommended was about $53,900 - See Geoff’s email for specifics
The club will vote on this next meeting and the awards will be presented at the June 13th Reception event
Paul - Venue/Menu Survey
Paul provided some more in depth data on that results and based on those - the group will likely do something similar to this year with a mix of coffee/a la carte and buffet. Paul indicated that dues are important to members and although we still have to pay dues (Rotary International Dues, District Dues, and Club Dues to cover the costs of involvement and programing), the breakfast portion of the dues are being reviewed.
There was a discussion of have 3 monthly meetings and the 4th meeting being a committee meeting to get work done?
Paul - Membership
There are 5-6 members who need to be removed for various reasons and/or have conversations about membership.
We need to keep working on getting new members because we either break even on an annual basis or lose more members than we gain
Paul is hoping to develop a Public Image committee to help with outreach and ensure the community is aware of what we are doing
David - Green Up Day (May 4th)

Jason L - Golf Tournament (May 17th)
We need volunteers - please sign up!! This will be a double event with morning and afternoon shifts as well as a silent auction, 50/50, and other events

About 65 Flags need to be repaired (thank you Kevin)

Lyn has been without a car for 9 weeks all because she picked up her phone and simultaneously hit a rock - “Don’t pick up your phone while driving”
