ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Auction--Fifteen Rotarians won items.  We grossed just under $10,000, about what we did last year, according to Geoff.

Cemetery Clean-up--David thanked the 28 Rotarians who helped, as well as Buzz and his crew from the town.  There were also some members of the Old Vermont Cemetery Association who helped.

Golf Tournament--Kevin is still looking for some volunteers.  They have 27 teams and 36 tee sponsors.  According to Neil they are doing better on revenue this year and also holding down costs.

Board Meeting--All members are welcome to attend each month's board meeting.  The next one will be at 5:15 on Tuesday, May 21 at the Town Offices.

Flags--Teams are being finalized for our five days for putting out flags.  The dates are May 25-27, June 14, July 3-7, August 31-September 2, and November 11.

Cabot Centennial Committee--Employees of Cabot will be helping with the Rotary float this year.  We need staffing for two tents.

Gala Dinner--Chris Waddell, motivational speaker, will be our keynoter that night, which is June 14.  Scott has tickets for the event--$38 for members, $48 for guests.

Exchange Student Host Family--Buzz is still looking for host families for our in-bound exchange student, a 17 year old female from Columbia.  He has been advertising it on Front Porch Forum and had an article in the Addison Independent.  Ideally he will identify some additional families for future years.

CLUB FLAG EXCHANGE

Giulia Lins spoke briefly about her year here as an exchange student from Brazil and presented Juddy with a flag from her sponsoring club.  Juddy gave her a flag from our club to take back to Brazil.

T Tall presided over the induction ceremony of three new members--Brandy Companion (sponsored by John Zahn) and Doug DeWitt and Shawn Oxford (both sponsored by Logan Price).
