ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Auction--23 days to the launch of the auction, and still many items donated in past years that are not being solicited. See Geoff or Maureen for a list to see what ones you can go after. Items may be brought to a meeting or dropped off on the porch of 5 Stonegate Drive in Middlebury. Auction begins May 3. David, Lyn, Gary, and Spence have teamed up to offer 2 hours each of garden help. Anyone else have creative ideas?
Flags--Six or seven people have signed up for a session to construct/repair flags. It will be held at Kevin Newton's house on April 13.
Public Service Awards--The committee in charge of our two public service awards, named in honor of former Rotarians Stephen Freeman and Buster Brush, consists of Kevin, Liz, T, Tim, Bill and Eric. They will meet on April 24 to make their selections.
Board Meeting--There will be a board meeting next Tuesday, April 16, in the town office. All members are welcome.
CACo--The Charitable Assessment Committee is nearly ready to make its funding recommendations. Kathy will call a meeting next week.
GreenUp Day--Dustin has agreed to be the coordinator. Shortly he will put out information as to when and where he needs helpers.

Jack--selling tickets to the Fire Department ham dinner, Waybury Inn, May 7.
Nancy--back from visiting in North Carolina. Cassandra has made Phi Beta Kappa.
Scott--hopes for new members from the Membership Breakfast. Presented Sean with a Rotary shirt.
Dennis--back from vacation with family in Florida.
Spence--Hadestown on Broadway last weekend was great.
Eric--For Jason--Tampa Bay still number one.
PRESENTATIONS:
Buzz introduced Gulia Lins, our exchange student from Brazil, who showed a power point and video from her home country and city.
Ben introduced Julia Berg, winner of the Alonzo Moulin Teacher Scholarship. The $3,000 grant covered her tuition at Leslie University where she took a three credit graduate level course which qualified her as an academic interventionist.
Doug Mandigo spoke about the growth of Little League baseball and softball locally and thanked the club for a donation toward a storage shed at the Jack Brown field in East Middlebury.
