Marilynn spoke on the Rotary focus area of "Peace". She stated that Peace is at the top of the Rotary wheel. She challenged us to think more positively about what peace is. She also discussed how our district has participated in a peace project in Rwanda. Marilynn described the Rotary Peace Fellows Society, highlighting the six centers for peace around the world. The intent is to educate students on making the world a better place mainly through providing service to organizations. There is a Master's Program for individuals to study up to 24 months as well as a Professional Development Certification Program for individuals in the workforce to be peace catalysts. Rotary fully finds these programs.

Thank you, Marilynn!
