            The Rotary Club of Middlebury exists to support our local, regional, and international communities. 

            If you think we might be able to help your organization or cause in some way, please read the following
and, if your request seems compatible with our guidelines, please complete the Grant Application form found on the tab to your left.


         Applications for financial support in 2021 are now being accepted.  Please submit your application on or before March 26, 2021.

            The club meets the first three Wednesdays of each month at the Middlebury Inn at 7:30 a.m.


Mission of the club’s grants:           

            The charitable mission of the Rotary Club of Middlebury is to provide operational and capital funds to nonprofit organizations and to individuals which reflect member desires as well as the overall goals of Rotary International.

            The Rotary Club of Middlebury acknowledges its fiduciary responsibility to members, donors, and sponsors in using its money wisely and with care.


            The Rotary Club of Middlebury can support projects:

                  - on a local, state and regional, and international level

                  - for all ages, e.g. youth, adults, seniors

                  - with a grant or with hands-on support


            The Club focuses its manpower and money in seven areas of concern as selected by Rotary International:


1.         conflict prevention and resolution - fostering peace,

2.         disease prevention and treatment,

3.         water and sanitation,

4.         maternal and child health,

5.         basic education and literacy,

6.         economic and community development, and

7.         protecting the environment.


            If you request funds, a committee of the club, known as the charitable assessment committee, will review your request and recommend some kind of action to the club’s membership.  We will do our best to respond to your request as soon as we can.

            Beneficiaries of Club grants and service projects will be recognized at the annual Gala dinner in the spring.
