The Rotary Club of Middlebury exists to support our local, regional, and international communities.
In the Spring of 2023, the club provided more than 20 local organizations with more than $50,000 for projects which addressed homelessness, elderly services, childcare, poverty eradication, hunger, health and economic development.
If you think we might be able to help your organization in some way, please read the following and, if your request seems compatible with our guidelines, please complete the Grant Application form found on the tab to your left.
Applications for financial support in 2024 are now being accepted. Please submit your application on or before March 29, 2024.
Please send your grant application to maureenconrad1@gmail.com. If you do not receive an email stating that we have received your application within 2 days, please follow up with us.

The Rotary Club of Middlebury can support projects:
- on a local, state, regional, and international level
- for all ages, e.g. youth, adults, seniors
- with a grant or with hands-on support
The Club focuses its efforts on supporting projects that assist seven areas of concern as selected by Rotary International:
1. conflict prevention and resolution - fostering peace,
2. disease prevention and treatment,
3. water and sanitation,
4. maternal and child health,
5. basic education and literacy,
6. economic and community development, and
7. protecting the environment.
If you request funds, a committee of the club known as the Charitable Assessment Committee will review your request and recommend action to the club's membership. We inform successful applicants in May and disperse the funds in June.
