The Rotary Club of Middlebury exists to support our local, regional, and international communities.

In the Spring of 2021, the club provided more than 20 local organizations with more than $40,000 for projects which addressed homelessness, elderly services, childcare, poverty eradication, health and economic development.

                  - with a grant or with hands-on support

The Club focuses its manpower and money in seven areas of concern as selected by Rotary International:

1.         conflict prevention and resolution - fostering peace,

2.         disease prevention and treatment,

3.         water and sanitation,

4.         maternal and child health,

5.         basic education and literacy,

6.         economic and community development, and

7.         protecting the environment.

If you request funds, a committee of the club known as the charitable assessment committee, will review your request and recommend some kind of action to the club’s membership.  We will inform you of our decision in May and disperse the funds at our annual Gala dinner in June.
